On the southern shore of Lake Victoria you can find the country of Tanzania, home of the gorgeous Serengeti National Park.
Although not as modern as the neighbouring Rwanda, or as diverse as Uganda, Tanzania is well worth a visit in its own right. Whether it’s tracking the Big Five or visiting the site of Jane Goodall’s chimpanzee studies, there’s always stunning sights to be seen.
Most well known for its 16 phenomenal national parks, the country is also home to the the highest mountain in Africa, the Kilimanjaro. In the east of the country, you’ll also find the semi-autonomous region of Zanzibar, with its tropical beaches and delicious food.
